Blogs, even if found on a professional website are never considered professional resources and should not be used for this project.

 

2. Once your topic is approved, you will begin your detailed research utilizing at least two professional resources related to early childhood learning and development. (15 POINTS)

a. Make sure your sources are reputable. Reputable websites typically end in .gov, .edu, .org, and .us. List your sources.

b. You are encouraged to use resources in the ECCE Lab and GTC Library. Don’t forget, your textbook can serve as a resource as well.

c. Your research must be submitted to the instructor by the due date assigned. Research must be paraphrased or summarized in your own words. You may not copy it directly from your sources.

 

3. After completing your research, follow these steps to write a research paper: (30 POINTS)

a. Write a detailed explanation of how the current trend is connected to young children’s characteristics and needs. In essence, think about your current trend and examine “what young children are like” and what needs do they have as it relates to the current trend you selected.

a. Create a mp4 file no longer than 1 minute. Adobe Spark is highly recommended. You should speak clearly and confidently.

b. You may not break confidentiality and use children in the PSA that you are not the legal guardian of. This will result in the grade of zero (0) for the assignment
