  2. What is a bit and what does it mean to say that “it’s all just bits”? (Koan 1) Give examples of the things today that are stored in bits?

A bit is a binary digit, the smallest increment of data on a computer. What is meant by “it’s all just bits” is that every image, every video, every text, email, anything you can imagine is stored as bits on your computer. It’s all just bits, lots of them, patterned in ways you cannot see.
