1. A Quality Improvement/Ethical issue will be assigned. (Falls in a long term facility) 2. Discuss the importance of the issue and relevance to the assigned healthcare environment. Describe the mission/vision/values of the facility and discuss how that relates to the quality topic. 4. Describe aspects of the organizational structure that affect your topic (general information – for profit/non-profit, health inspections if category is related, # beds, staffing etc.) 5. Based upon your research identify one solution that would advance quality or safety related to the assigned issue. 6. Discuss how a nurse can implement the solution. One paragraph of pros (e.g. how the change will impact current state) and one paragraph of cons (e.g. resources needed, cost, education). 7. Cite a minimum of 4 sources of evidence from reputable resources that support your solution.
